SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with TAG MoveMeant Consulting, LLC, for Professional Development Workshops at Robles Elementary School (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This outreach program is funded by the Schools of Hope - Whole School Transformation Model (TOP-3) Grant through the Florida Department of Education.  The consultant will conduct an assessment and collaborate with school leadership to determine a specific focus for mentoring. The program will serve 25-30 students per session for two 8-week sessions for a total of 50-60 students.  The consultant will provide two parent workshops and two on-site, follow-up visits to assist parents in how to engage with their child, and to show the importance of literacy.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $28,000 will be available in the TOP-3 grant.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 3367.  As of September 6, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $28,000.
EVALUATION
The funding agency requires the district to contract with an external evaluator to assess the impact of project activities. The evaluator will examine evidence related to the student mentoring services performed and measure the related outcomes.
