Approve Hillsborough Employee Handbook: Personnel Policies and Procedures
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Employee Handbook serves as a navigation tool to assist employees of Hillsborough County Public Schools with the district’s various policies, procedures, benefits, and services. 

Sections of the handbook address:

  • Contract Information
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Districtwide Expectations
  • Employee-Employer Responsibilities
  • Use of Technology and Social Media
  • Transfer, Reassignment, and Termination

The Employee Handbook is provided to all new employees at Employee Processing through our onboarding procedures.  In addition, current employees will have access to our Employee Handbook through the district website and through internal communications.

• Recruit, support, and retain a highly effective and diverse workforce • Continuously improve processes and systems

EVALUATION
The Employee Handbook will be utilized through onboarding/orientation sessions with new and current employees.  Feedback will be sought from all stakeholders on the relevancy and importance of the information provided.  Necessary updates will be made to reflect handbook/employee enhancements.
