Approve the Updated Salary for School Psychology Interns (Revised)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Psychology Intern (job code 10600) position is a flat-rate salaried position that allows an intern in a school psychology university program to complete field experience in collaboration with Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Psychological Services and the university’s program supervisor.  The salary for this position, currently $8.93 per hour, has not been adjusted in several years.  Effective January 1, 2019, the salary will be revised to $10.50 per hour in order to enhance the district’s ability to recruit qualified applicants for HCPS Psychological Services.
