Due to fire damage, and in order for them to be preserved and used as part of the future school, the existing exterior walls were required to be braced against further damage at Lee Elementary School. District staff selected Master Consulting Engineers, Inc. and HCBECK, LTD (dba The Beck Group) from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The project scope consisted of the construction of bracing to support the existing exterior brick walls at Lee Elementary School to protect them against windstorm and selected demolition activities.

The design professional has certified that the work is now fully complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
