Approve the Revised Job Descriptions for School Health Services Positions (Academic Support and Federal Programs)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The four School Health Services (SHS) job descriptions listed below have been updated to reflect legislated changes to title language, increases in student health needs, and standards of care as outlined in the scope of nursing practice in accordance with the rules and laws published by the Board of Nursing. 50802 Physician 50803 Nurse, Advanced Practice Registered (APRN) 50804 Nurse, Registered 50813 Nurse, Licensed Practical

These positions are funded through Part 1, Department of Health (DOH) Fund 3578 and 3375 and IDEA 3531, Head Start and Alternative Education.  The pay rates/salary ranges of these positions are: 50802 Physician (Non-Rep Physician): Flat rate of $61.83/hour 50803 Nurse, Advanced Practice Registered (APRN) (NON-REP PG 38): $60,002.64 to $104,074.08 50804 Nurse, Registered (ESP PG 32): $49,284.40 to $77,721.60 50813 Nurse, Licensed Practical (ESP PG 25): $35,055.68 to $55,295.68
