Recognition of B.E.S.T. (Brain Expansions Scholastic Training) for Their Support of Education and Youth Development in Hillsborough County (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We would like to recognize the comprehensive efforts of the B.E.S.T. (Brain Expansions Scholastic Training) Program, which was started in 2004.  It is a program dedicated to creating a long lasting, positive impact in the lives of under represented and disadvantaged youth, with specific encouragement and exposure to health related careers and science and math. The B.E.S.T. Program maps an individualized path of success for each student to prepare them for academic excellence.

All Strategic Objectives • Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders
