Recognition of the Florida Elementary Reading Coach of the Year (Office of Teaching and Learning)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Joy Vega, Reading Coach at Ruskin Elementary School, was nominated and selected by her peers as Hillsborough County Public Schools Elementary Reading Coach of the year. She has demonstrated excellence in promoting literacy instruction at her school site and through her support of district literacy initiatives. We take great pride in our strong literacy programs and commend Ms. Vega for her selection as Florida's Elementary Reading Coach of the year. Ms. Vega was recognized at the 2018 Florida Literacy Association Conference on November 5, 2018. The Reading Coach of the Year awards are sponsored by the Florida Literacy Coach Association.
