Public Hearing on the Adoption of New and Revised Policies
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The attached new and revised policies being recommended for adoption were provided to and discussed by the School Board at the September 4, 2018 workshop. The policies reflect the work completed at that meeting, as well as Board member feedback. On December 4, 2018 the School Board approved the advertisement and public review of these policies. The policies were made available for public review on the district website starting on December 5, 2018. The notice of rulemaking was listed in the Florida Sentinel Bulletin, La Gaceta, and Tampa Bay Times on December 7, 2018, and in the December 15, 2018 edition of the Osprey Observer. After completion of the advertisement period set forth in Florida Statute Chapter 120, the Superintendent recommends approval to adopt these policies.
