EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Each year the Florida Department of Education declares a week, "Student Services Week." Locally, this week will be celebrated February 4-8, 2019. During this week, principals and school district personnel recognize the positive work of staff members who promote the mental health well-being and academic success for all students. The board acknowledges the important role that counselors, health personnel, psychologists, and social workers play in the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and overall positive development of all students. The importance of the expertise and commitment of Student Services staff members to ensure all students and families feel welcomed, supported, and ready to learn cannot be understated. | |
