SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept the Renewal of the Piggyback of the Agreement between GuideSoft, Inc. d/b/a Knowledge Services and the State of Florida, Bid #3141800-14-ACS, Temporary Employment Staffing Services (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On July 14, 2015, the Board approved the piggyback of State Bid #3141800-14-ACS to contract for temporary employment staffing services. This contract provides temporary staffing services within multiple job categories including administrative support. The State of Florida agreement has extended the term from November 18, 2018, to November 17, 2019.  This contract may be renewed by the Superintendent, per the terms of the specifications.  In accordance with the Florida Department of Education Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(6), in lieu of requesting competitive solicitations from three or more sources, district school boards may make purchases at or below the specified prices from contracts awarded by other city or county governmental agencies, or other district school boards.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Annual expenditures are estimated to be $210,000, primarily from Early Childhood and HOST programs, and Assessment and Accountability.  As this service is purchased districtwide, there is not one specific project number assigned for the purchases.
EVALUATION
Contract administration and evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (the "End User") and the Procurement Officer, who function as a team, by utilizing an online vendor performance report or via in-person reviews. The evaluation consists of an assessment of the vendor-provided goods and services, deliverables, and compliance with contractual requirements. The resulting data will support renewal decisions and/or alterations to a new agreement.
