Accept the Lowest Responsive, Responsible Bids Submitted by Multiple Vendors – Invitation to Bid (ITB) #18168-MST-CK Pressure Washing and Cleaning Services (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This bid was prepared at the request of the Facilities Maintenance Support Department to establish fixed pricing for services related to pressure washing and cleaning.  Services include, but are not limited to, the removal of dirt, mildew, rust, debris, graffiti, and various stains from building surfaces as needed throughout the district.  

This recommendation has been reviewed by the Facilities Maintenance Support Senior Department Manager. 

The initial term of this contract shall be for a one-year period beginning February 6, 2019, with four 1-year renewals.  There is a 30-day termination for convenience clause included in this contract.  All prices offered are firm against any increase for at least one year from the effective date. This contract may be renewed by the Superintendent, per the terms of the specifications.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $490,000 will be available in the Facilities Maintenance Support Department budget.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8070.  As of January 11, 2019, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $490,000.
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (the "End User") and the Procurement Officer, who function as a team, by utilizing an online vendor performance report or via in-person reviews.  The evaluation consists of an assessment of the vendor-provided goods and services, deliverables, and compliance with contractual requirements.  The resulting data will support renewal decisions and/or alterations to a new agreement.
