EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On September 11, 2018, the 2018/2019 Budget was presented to the Board for approval and subsequently sent to the Florida Department of Education, as required by law. The Citizens Budget Report is intended to make the district’s budget understandable and easily accessible to the stakeholders of Hillsborough County. This report summarizes the budget and property tax process as it relates to the school district and includes frequently asked questions regarding both. It is an information only report and is a work in progress. We will continue to add pertinent information that is deemed appropriate by the Board, the District Finance Committee, and the taxpayers of Hillsborough County. |

The district’s Central Printing shop will provide the cover, paper, printing, and binding of this report at a cost of $235. The funds for these costs are available in the Budget Department’s budget. | |
