| Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for a Classroom Addition at East Bay High School | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for a classroom addition at East Bay High School to support current and projected enrollment growth within existing boundaries. The project scope provides twenty new classrooms adding capacity for five hundred additional students. On November 17, 2015, the Board approved the appointment of Wilder Architecture, Inc. to provide design services and on December 15, 2015 appointed Ajax Building Corporation to provide construction management services. |

Funds in the amount of $8,000,000.00 will be available in the Impact Fees fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8607. As of Thursday, September 15, 2016, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $7,493,475.11.
The total construction cost is warranted at $5,976,000. |
