Adoption of Proclamation - "Minority Business Enterprise Development Conference," October 11-14, 2016 (Office of Diversity)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Minority and small business enterprises are the fastest growing segment of the nation's population and are a significant economic force.  To recognize local minority and small businesses who provide many of the products and services needed to support teachers, students and support personnel, Hillsborough County Public Schools would like to recognize October 11-14, 2016, as Minority Business Enterprise Development Conference.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning

There is no financial impact to the district.
