EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) adopted Waterford Early Learning in October 2014. WEL is a researched-based digital tool specifically designed for Pre-K students. The curriculum is based on the Early Learning Head Start Framework and is used for individual/group digital instruction.
HCPS Heard Start students learn how to utilize the mouse and complete basic computer-related functions such as, dragging, clicking, moving, stopping, pausing, and deleting. The computer becomes a means to access information and students read to learn. Students use the program 15 minutes each day. |
