Safe and Sound Hillsborough Interlocal Agreement (Chief of Staff) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
As a result of the joint Violence Prevention Collaborative chaired by Commissioner Kevin Beckner, and School Board members April Griffin and Cindy Stuart, serving on the Leadership Council, the following agencies are entering into an Interlocal Agreement to work towards a Safe and Sound Hillsborough.
Various agencies have either provided in-kind services or monetary contributions. This agreement shall be effective upon execution by all parties and shall expire on September 30, 2019, unless terminated in accordance with this agreement. Note that there are no signatures on the agreement. Once all participating agencies have approved and signed the agreement the County Commission will execute and provide each agency a copy. On September 9, 2014, the School Board approved the amount of $5,000 annually over a 5-year period to be budgeted from non-recurring funds. |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
Funds in the amount of $5,000.00 will be available in the Safe and Sound project. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 5414. As of Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $5,000.00. Over a 5-year period $5,000 will be budgeted each year from non-recurring funds. | |
