Universal Bathroom (Office of Diversity)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
All Hillsborough County Public Schools have been asked to designate a universal bathroom for any student who does not wish to use the regular bathrooms. Schools identified the exact location of the universal bathroom, the universal bathroom protocol, and the point of contact for Title IX. To date, most schools have submitted their information. Bathroom signs were provided for every high school. Most elementary and middle schools have individual or private bathrooms and therefore, were given signs only upon request. Three Title IX trainings were offered to principals, assistant principals, and supervisors during July and September 2016. There were approximately 600 participants in attendance. Specific universal bathroom questions or concerns are directed to Minerva Spanner-Morrow and/or Chris Farkas.
