| Public Hearing and Approve the Resolution Amending the Community Investment Tax Project List Initially Approved on April 26, 2016, in Order to Approve Additional Projects to be Funded for the 2016/2021 Period by the Community Investment Tax (Business Services Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Per the requirements of Hillsborough County Ordinance 96-12 and the Interlocal Agreement of July 17, 1996, the district is required to hold a Public Hearing and adopt a resolution listing the projects to be funded from the proceeds of the Community Investment Tax.
The School Board adopted a Resolution approving such projects on April 26, 2016, and it is in the best interest of the district to amend such project list in order to add the purchase and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning units (HVAC) and the purchase of bus repair parts with an estimated useful life of at least five years. A Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Tampa Bay Times on October 13, 2016. Mr. John Stokes of Nabors, Giblin and Nickerson will attend this meeting to assist the Board in this endeavor. |
