Approve Agreement for Technical Services with Bellwether Consulting, LLC for the Evaluation of the INVESTING IN INNOVATION FUND (i3) Grant Project (Office of Teaching and Learning)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This agenda item approves the evaluator services for the third year, 2016/2017, of this five year grant.  Grant evaluation services include measuring the success of the grant-supported activities in implementing the University of South Florida (USF)/Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) teacher residency program in elementary schools.  The evaluation will provide program evaluation in compliance with the grant funding agency regulations and the needs of HCPS.  Grant evaluation services include the following: evaluation design assistance, data analyses, and a comprehensive Annual Performance Evaluation Report.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $60,000.00 will be available in the i3 Evaluation Grant, Special Revenue Fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 2737. As of Monday, November 7, 2016, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $569,777.00.
EVALUATION
The Coordinator of Grant Evaluations, Department of Assessment and Accountability, has direct supervision of the selected external evaluator. The Coordinator oversees the evaluation activities, tracks progress, and ensures reporting compliance as well as transmission of all required reports to the funding agency.
