Approve the Reorganization of the Air Conditioning and Energy Management Department and Job Description for Senior Mechanical Engineer, AC & Energy Management. | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Maintenance Department has determined that the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer is needed to oversee, coordinate, and evaluate current and future mechanical/electrical systems as required for site renovations and new construction. This position requires a higher level of knowledge and familiarity with K-12 educational facilities, state and federal mandates and local building code requirements. This position will also be a liaison between the Operations Division and architects, engineers, and construction managers employed by the district. | |

The reorganization of the Air Conditioning and Energy Management Department will represent an annual savings to the District of $38,864.69 beginning January 1, 2017. | |
