EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
National School Counseling Week, February 6-10, 2017, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors have in preparing students for life. The theme this year is "School Counseling: Helping Students Realize Their Potential." During the month of February local principals and school district personnel will recognize the positive work of school counselors which strengthens student learning and family/community involvement. The adoption of this proclamation by the School Board is an acknowledgement of the important role that school counselors and college and career counselors play in the academic and social/emotional development of students in our school district. | |
