Approve Memorandum of Agreement Between United Way, Inc. and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida (Outreach and School Improvement)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The United Way Suncoast and Hillsborough County School District desire to ensure high quality educational programs to prepare students for life. The United Way Suncoast funds for multiple programs that provide educational support and services to children in Hillsborough County. The United Way Suncoast desires to examine the impact of funded programs provided to students without creating an administrative burden on district resources. The United Way Suncoast and Hillsborough County School District personnel will work together to use appropriate educational data to facilitate the evaluations of the various programs in a manner which complies with the Family Educational Rights and Protection Act (FERPA) and other relevant regulations.

• Improve the high school graduation rate • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders

This item has no financial impact.
EVALUATION
Administrators from UW and HCPS will meet to evaluate the scope of services and to make additional plans as articulated in the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA).  Aggregate student performance data will be utilized to determine the success of program outcomes.
