Recognition of Schools and Individuals that Provided and Supported the 2017 Florida State Fair
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Over the last 37 years, in order to showcase Hillsborough County Public Schools, many individuals and schools have worked diligently to build outstanding exhibits at the Florida State Fair.  During the 2017 Florida State Fair, 24 schools displayed outstanding educational exhibits.  The district's exhibits were made possible through the efforts of the State Fair Committee, along with the efforts of the principals, sponsors, and students.  The State Fair Committee is requesting that the School Board recognize schools and individuals that entered an exhibit in the 2017 State Fair.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $352.00 will be available in the Parent & Community Relations Account.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 4403.  As of Wednesday, March 22, 2017, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $362.03.  Supplies and materials are expended from the fair budget.
