Approve Acceptance of Project for Classroom Addition and Remodeling at Alonso High School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Additional capacity was required at Alonso High School to support population growth in the area surrounding the school. On April 21, 2015, the Board appointed Wilder Architecture, Inc. and Ajax Building Corporation to provide design and construction management services for the classroom addition and remodeling. The project scope included a new 12 classroom addition providing 300 student stations; remodeling of the existing cafeteria and administrative suite to provide additional dining capacity and staff office; and minor remodeling to accommodate exceptional student education (ESE) program requirements. |

Funds in the amount of $9,500,000.00 will be available in the Impact Fee funds. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8593. As of Tuesday, April 11, 2017, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $3,256,324.28.
