Approve Third Amendment to Purchase and Sale Agreement for Land Exchange and Interlocal Agreement Between the School Board of Hillsborough County and the Housing Authority of the City of Tampa for the Proposed West River Development Project

On February 2, 2016, the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, approved a Purchase and Sale Agreement and Interlocal Agreement with the Housing Authority of the City of Tampa to exchange land surrounding Steward Middle Schools for Housing Authority land adjacent to the schools' campus on Spruce Street for the proposed West River Development Project.  On November 1, 2016 the School Board granted additional time for the Housing Authority to complete the due diligence testing and final boundary survey until March 17, 2017.  The Housing Authority has asked for additional time to complete these tasks until October 2, 2017 and has agreed that the due diligence period will not be extended beyond this date.  No other terms or conditions have been changed and/or modified.

Approval of the Third Amendment to the Purchase and Sale Agreement and Interlocal Agreement for the proposed West River Development Project between the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida and the Housing Authority of the City of Tampa will have no financial impact to the School  Board.
