Approve the Statement of Work for Technical Services with iBi Solutions, Inc. for IBM Cognos Software Upgrade (Information Technology) 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Reports from the Teacher Evaluation Data Management System (TEV) are built using IBM Cognos software. This Statement of Work (SOW) includes the technical services necessary to ensure the sustainment of the IBM Cognos software. Consultants from iBi Solutions, Inc. will provide the technical services necessary to upgrade the IBM Cognos software to the current version. This SOW has a fixed price for the Cognos upgrade and includes optional hours to assist Information Technology staff with analytics and data warehouse software design, development, and testing. Part of the Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grant is specifically allocated for these services.  

This SOW is governed by the terms of the Master Services Agreement between the district and iBi Solutions, Inc. for analytics and data warehouse development and support that was approved by the Board on April 21, 2015.

This SOW has a fixed minimum price for the Cognos upgrade of $139,200.00 with additional optional hours not to exceed $250,000.00 for a total SOW amount not to exceed $389,200.00.  Funding is provided by the Teacher Incentive Funds grant. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 3205. iBi Solutions provides their services on a time and materials basis with no additional travel or per diem charges or expenses to the district.
EVALUATION
Information Technology staff will evaluate the consulting agreement with iBi Solutions, Inc. based on the accuracy and timeliness of the deliverables as outlined in the SOW. District staff monitors and reviews their performance through status reports and discussions during weekly status meetings and project plan reviews.
