Approve Amendment 4 of Subcontract and Statement of Work (SOW) 11 with NCS Pearson, Inc. (Pearson), for Proofreading and Transcription Services for Blind and Visually Impaired Students (Educational Access, Opportunity, and Alternatives Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We request approval of Amendment 4 of the Subcontract and SOW 11 with Pearson which extends timelines and defines activities related to the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS), and End-of-Course (EOC) Assessments. Amendment 4, Paragraph 3 of the Subcontract extends the original subcontract through December 31, 2017, between Pearson and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida. The following activities are described for the FCAT, NGSSS, and EOC administrations in SOW 11:

If approved, Pearson will reimburse the district in the amount of $56,519 for services provided and the funds will be included in the divisional special revenue/federal programs budget. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 3339. There is no additional cost to the district. | |
EVALUATION | |
Pearson and FLDOE will review the status of each task to ensure expected progress is being made in a timely manner. | |
