|Approve Acceptance of Project for a Classroom Addition and Remodeling at Newsome High School|
Additional capacity was required at Newsome High School to support population growth in the area surrounding the school. On April 21, 2015, the Board appointed Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects, Inc. and Allstate Construction, Inc. to provide design and construction management services for a classroom addition and remodeling. The project scope included the addition of 20 classrooms adding 500 student stations, remodeling the existing cafeteria and administrative suite to provide additional dining capacity and staff offices, and expansion of existing parking.
The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.
