|Approve Increase in Expenditure for Purchase of New Vehicles from the State of Florida Contract #25100000-16-1 Motor Vehicles (Business Services Division)|
|On July 19, 2016, the Board approved the piggyback of the State of Florida contract to purchase vehicles. If approved, Student Nutrition Services will be utilizing this contract to purchase two Ford F-250 trucks and Logistics Operations will purchase one Ford T-150 Transit van.
The two Ford F-250 trucks will replace one vehicle determined to be beyond economical repair and one vehicle totaled in an accident. The Ford T-150 van is needed to conduct daily mail operations throughout the district.

Funds in the amount of $59,368 will be available in the Student Nutrition Services budget for the purchase of two Ford F-250 trucks. There is no specific project assigned for this purchase. As of May 18, 2017, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $327,000.
Funds in the amount of $27,680 will be available in Local Millage for the purchase of one Ford T-150 Transit van. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda is 8119. As of May 18, 2017, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $500,000.
|Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer who function as a team. Reviews are performed annually or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.|
