EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Florida Power-Library Schools Award, administered by the Florida Association of Supervisors of Media, provides statewide recognition to schools that nurture focused, systemic change through the involvement of the entire school staff in developing and implementing a plan that integrates the library media program with teacher collaboration and student achievement. The competitive application process is designed to identify school library media programs, throughout the state of Florida, that meet the outstanding criteria outlined in the Florida Power-Library School Award Evaluation Rubric. We are recognizing two elementary schools that completed the competitive application process and were designated Florida Power-Library Schools at the Florida Association of Media in Education Conference on October 19, 2017.
