EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
DimensionU Games is a unique, supplemental, online subscription resource for math and literacy, aligned with the Florida Standards that is delivered in a highly engaging video game context. The DimensionU Games licensing fees include annual site licenses for administrators, teachers, and students, and ongoing upgrades and maintenance.  Educators are able to differentiate instruction, reinforce inquiry and problem solving skills, build math and literacy fluency, and engage students in Math and Literacy curricula at school, home, or over the summer. Utilization of DimensionU Games is available for all Hillsborough County Public Schools students (including public charter schools) in grades 3-8.  DimensionU Games is used primarily in the HOST Program for enrichment and in the 7th grade Intensive Math curriculum for remediation.

In accordance with the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(12)(d), commodities or contractual services available only from a single source may be exempted from the competitive solicitation requirements.  When a district board believes commodities or contractual services are available only from a single source as specified by the FLDOE, the district school board may negotiate on the best terms and conditions with the single source vendor.
