EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) staff members along with community partners worked to establish the Healthy Schools Program throughout HCPS school sites and work locations. This program promotes awareness and provides steps to achieve a healthy lifestyle through physical activity, nutrition, and mental health mindfulness for students, families, and employees. This collaborative team created a framework for each site to assess their progress towards becoming a Healthy School. Schools reflected on their achievements during the school year and evaluated their progress. Together this team demonstrated a shared commitment to health and wellness. |
