EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The District is recommending the disposition of the 20-acre vacant land at Gunn Highway and Donna Lu Drive, Odessa, Florida, as it has been determined to be unnecessary for educational purposes per Florida Statute 1013.28. Under Florida Statute 1013.31 all school districts are required to submit an educational plant survey once every five years. The School Board approved the District's current survey on June 10, 2014. The Survey recommends new facilities as well as additions, remodeling, dispositions and renovations at existing sites. As exceptions to the original survey recommendations arise, the School Board is required to amend the Educational Plant Survey by submitting a "spot survey" to the Florida Department of Education. |
