| Approve Agreement with the Florida State Fair Authority for High School Graduations (Chief of Schools) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| High school graduations for 2017 will be held at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall for 27 high schools, adult education, and technical colleges. Graduations are scheduled for May 19, 2017, through May 26, 2017. Rehearsals will be held on May 16, 17, 18, and 21, 2017. Back-up day is scheduled for May 27, 2017.
The Florida State Fair Authority requests the School Board Chair's signature to be the first signature on the contract to acknowledge acceptance prior to their final signature. |

| Funds in the amount of $162,686.90 will be available in the Administration Division - Graduation Rental. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 5300. As of Friday, August 19, 2016, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $184,398.45. | |
