Information Regarding Transportation
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This workshop will provide further information and clarification on the following:

  • Courtesy Busing
  • Future Bus Purchases (accelerated purchase to capture operational cost savings)

Transportation will identify state criteria that provides funded transportation to elementary school students that live within two miles of school.  District Safety will identify criteria and process for providing transportation outside the state guidelines.

• Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
