myON Reader is a comprehensive personalized reading environment that will enable children and students to access the largest integrated, interactive, and engaging library of digital books at home, school, public libraries, community centers, or anywhere they have access to the Internet. Capstone Digital will continue to provide myON Reader subscription licenses and a full-time project manager who will manage and support the program to ensure consistency in meeting the district and Children’s Board goals for the project. The Children’s Board and its partners will continue to work with the project manager to establish enrollment processes for those children not enrolled in school.

Funds not to exceed the amount of $1,321,000 will be funded through the following sources (remaining balances as of January 2, 2017):

• Reading Categorical:  $265,000 - Project 4528, remaining balance equaled $ 3,311,174
• Charter Schools:  $125,000 - Project 5067, remaining balance equaled $125,000
• HCPS Out-of-School Time (HOST):  $478,000 - Project 4302, remaining balance equaled $478,000
• HCPS Head Start:  $30,000 - Project 0379, remaining balance equaled $526,472
• Voluntary Prekindergarten:  $30,000 - Project 4530, remaining balance equaled $ 2,283,620
• English Language Learners (ELL):  $30,000 - Project 3161, remaining balance equaled $2,321,182
