Recognition of Erwin Technical College for Receiving Council on Occupational Education (COE) Accreditation for 35 Consecutive Years (Workforce Connections)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Council on Occupational Education (COE) recognized Erwin Technical College for completing 35 years of accredited status at the Council’s Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas in November 2016.  Erwin has undergone self-studies and subsequent site visits about every six years in order to maintain this recognition. The award of accreditation is based on an evaluation to demonstrate that the institution meets not only the standards of assuring quality and Integrity in Career and Technical Education, but also the needs of students, the community, and employers.
