| Approve Six-Month Agreement for Technical Services with the Tampa Bay Arts and Education Network (TBAE) to Provide Video Broadcast Services (Business Services Division) Revised Attachment (Page 6) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On July 19, 2016, the Board approved a six-month agreement with TBAE for video broadcast services. It is recommended that TBAE continue to provide broadcasting services produced by Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) including School Board meetings, Math Homework Hotline, Spotlight on Seniors, Best Kept Secrets, 2017 Graduation Ceremonies at the Florida State Fairgrounds, and other programming from February 2017 – July 2017 at a cost of $27,000 per month as per the attached Agreement for Technical Services.
The artistic and technical services provided by TBAE are exempt from the bidding process, per Florida Department of Education Rule 6A-1.012(11)(a) Purchasing Policies. |
