Approve the Reorganization of the Outreach and School Improvement Division and New Job Descriptions. (Outreach and School Improvement) (Additional Attachment) Corrected Attachments
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The departments of Community Engagement and Philanthropy and Full Service Centers will be under the direction of the Outreach and School Improvement Division.  This reorganization will place most of the outreach and community engagement programs as well as volunteers and business partners under one division.

In order to improve communication with our stakeholders and assist our students and parents, the following positions will be added: Supervisor of Outreach and School Improvement, and District Resource Teacher, Outreach and School Improvement. The effective date of this reorganization is July 1, 2017.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Recruit, support, and retain a highly effective and diverse workforce • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The annual cost of this reorganization is estimated to be approximately $116,763.00 of which $79,000 will be funded by the General Fund, $18,881.28 will be funded from Workforce and $18,881.28 will be funded from Title I.
