EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Throughout the month of April, library media specialists will be recognized and celebrated for inspiring students to become lifelong learners by connecting students with the resources to read, explore, analyze, and think critically about the world around them. Sponsored by the American Association of School Librarians, a division of the American Library Association, this year's National School Library Month theme is "Because School Libraries Empower Students."
The adoption of this proclamation by the School Board is an acknowledgement of the essential role of Hillsborough County library media specialists, highlighting their tremendous impact on student success and preparing students for life. |
