  • GUIDE the Thunder, mentorship program that takes place at Pierce and Webb Middle schools provides one-to-one mentors to the 34 participants, weekly ice hockey sessions, tutoring, transportation and meals. This commitment will extend for an additional four academic years and will impact a total of 100 students.
  • Build the Thunder, Lightning Made Clinics are street hockey clinics that promote the game of hockey. All participants receive a street hockey stick and ball to practice at home.
  • Hock3y by the Numb3rs, sponsored by the Stantec Company, is a math centered one hour presentation that brings math to life through hockey application. This program is directed by Rick Peckham, Tampa Bay Lightning's broadcaster.
