EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Student Services will continue to build capacity to strategically plan and coordinate student service delivery to meet the needs of the diverse student population served across Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS). Particular emphasis will be placed on providing a swift, targeted response when there is a risk or indication of potential violence surrounding a school.

Consultants from Alma Advisory will work with student services personnel to devise and implement systems of support designed to provide for the unique needs presented in each of the district's eight geographical areas, as well as provide for the needs of the students identified within each of the schools.  Support and coaching will further strengthen the function and impact student services personnel play in supporting the role of Area Leadership Teams.  As a result, a transparent, high-level standard for the district and site-based student services operations and support will be created to bolster the district's vision and mission for building strong school cultures and preparing all students for life.
