Approve the Naming and Dedication of the Media Center at Knights Elementary School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Knights Elementary School faculty, staff, parents, and community members have requested that the media center at Knights Elementary School be named the Truman Kahler Library of Knowledge and Innovation. Truman Kahler, an Air Force veteran, began teaching after retiring from the military.  He was an outstanding, dedicated teacher, who influenced and enriched the lives of many students and families in the Knights and Plant City communites throughout his educational career.  Mr. Kahler will forever be admired and respected for his unwavering support to students and colleagues.  It would be an honor to the faculty, staff, parents, and students to have the approval for the naming and dedication of the Truman Kahler Library of Knowledge and Innovation at Knights Elementary School.

There is no financial impact to the district for the naming and dedication of the media center.
