The Partnership is designed to target five elements: 1) implementation of rigorous academic programs for all students to increase students' opportunities to succeed in advanced-level courses; 2) extensive and ongoing professional development for principals, teachers, and counselors; 3) extensive use of data to inform and drive teaching, learning, and assessment within each school; 4) college planning and preparation, including school-based counseling, and college-prep programs; and 5) developmental support that creates a personalized learning environment and community for every student.
