EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the architectural firm of Reliable Group LLC. On March 12, 2002, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Southeast Construction. The scope of work includes roof replacement on Buildings 1, 2, and 3, window replacement in Building 2, and addition of a covered walkway to facilitate circulation between Buildings 1 and 2. The air conditioning in the administration suite, teacher workroom, computer lab, and Building 2 will be replaced. The site will be modified at the rear of Building 1 for better drainage. The front doors at Building 1 will be replaced and other selected doors will have hinge, frame, and threshold adjustments. The administration suite will receive new paint, ceiling tiles, and flooring. The fire alarm, intercom, security, and telephone systems will be replaced. Fire sprinklers will be installed as rating of the corridor walls would disrupt the historic integrity of the building.
This change order provides credits for the return of unused contingency funds and final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program.
