EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Carruthers and Associates. On November 9, 2004, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Manhattan Construction. The scope of work provides for replacement of the classroom building toilet rooms with ADA compliant toilet rooms, replacement of classroom VCT flooring and cabinets, repair and painting of exterior and interior walls, replacement of the classroom buildings gas-fired heaters with a package HVAC system, replacement of window wall transom panels and reglazing of the window wall, and installation of new intercom and fire alarm systems throughout the facility.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for July 21, 2006.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $2,485,365. The construction budget is $2,485,365. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction.
