EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On March 12, 2002, the Board approved the appointment of Rick Rados Architecture and Cutler Associates to design and construct a replacement facility for the Gary Adult Center. On April 6, 2004, the Board reassigned the architectural agreement to Wilder Architecture, Inc. On May 3, 2005, the Board reassigned the construction management agreement to Peter R. Brown Construction, Inc. The scope of work provides for a replacement facility for the Gary Adult Center.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for December 16, 2005.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $4,389,052. The construction budget is $4,389,052. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2004C.
