EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Newsome High School was planned by the architectural firm of Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects. On March 13, 2001, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Beck, Ltd. On August 24, 2004, the Board approved Amendment No. 2 to the construction management agreement for construction of an athletic complex. The scope of work included a football field grandstand, baseball and softball field bleachers, dugouts, a press box, batting cages, a concession building and restrooms.
This change order provides a credit for the return of unused contingency funds.
The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
