These projects are being planned by the architectural firm of Reynolds, Smith & Hills, Inc. On June 7, 2005, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Batson-Cook Company, Inc. As of the current boundaries, relief will be provided for Collins, Cypress Creek, Summerfield and Wimauma Elementary Schools and Randall and Rodgers Middle Schools.

Approval of the schematic design will allow the architect to proceed with design development. Project completion is scheduled for the 2008-09 school year.

Construction budget for Elementary School "L" is $9,797,859. The estimate of probable cost is $8,685,861. Construction budget for Middle School "SS" is $16,889,187. The estimate of probable cost is $16,994,370. These items are included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 04C and Classrooms for Kids 05 (Elementary School "L") and Certificates of Participation Series 05 (Middle School "SS").
