Approval of Agreement for Technical Services with TEC-LINK, LLC for Lawson Post-Production Support of Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll (Information and Technology)

On December 14, 2004, April 19, 2005, and again on August 23, 2005, the School Board approved a technical services agreement with TEC-LINK, LLC to assist with programming, testing, data conversion, and report development activities for the implementation of Lawson Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll. This agreement will extend TEC-LINK's services for Lawson post go-live support from January 31, 2006, until June 30, 2006. The complexity of Lawson Human Resources and Payroll, along with the issues and lessons learned since "go live" on July 5, 2005, indicate that the district will need this additional post go-live support.

Goal 2.b.6: Implement a system-wide paperless procedure for notification of new hires to the program area supervisory staff, certification office, and staff development.

The cost for this technical service shall not exceed $101,200.00 payable at the rate of $110.00 per billable hour. Funding is from the District's technology budget, project 5002.
